Who We Are

Little, Meyers & Associates, Ltd. is first and foremost a team of professionals. The founding members, drawing on insights gained from years of working with parties to personal injury litigation, exhibit a firm commitment to forging positive outcomes, outcomes that will produce benefits well beyond the point of settlement.

Tom Little

Tom Little has focused his career on facilitating positive outcomes in personal injury settlements. Over the years, his work with claimants, attorneys, and insurance companies convinced him that the injury resolution process requires more than financial solutions. Mr. Little has long been interested in finding ways to ease the injured person's pre- and post-settlement frustrations.

Mr. Little is an acknowledged leader in the structured settlement field and a past president of the National Structured Settlements Trade Association. He has been tapped for expert testimony before both State and Federal legislative bodies. Most recently, he testified before the Ways and Means Committee of the United States Congress in support of legislation that would prevent egregious business practices by companies that purchase settlement payments.

An attorney, Mr. Little is also a certified mediator, a licensed insurance agent, and a registered lobbyist. In addition to his NSSTA leadership, he is Chairman of the Board of Hollaender Manufacturing Corporation.

Karen Meyers

Karen Meyers tempers her considerable credentials in the insurance and legal fields with a rare ability to speak to the human side of an issue, as she showed in testimony before the Ohio Senate in March, 2000.

Ms. Meyers' expertise has been widely recognized throughout the Midwest. She is only the third woman to be elected to the Board of Directors of the National Structured Settlement Trade Association, and she is an adjunct professor at Miami University and Thomas More College. Ms. Meyers co-developed the National Certification Program for Structured Settlement Consultants, which she presents annually through the Executive Programs of the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana and The National Structured Settlement Trade Association.

A NSSTA member since 1990, Ms. Meyers' credentials include a Doctorate in Law, a Master's Degree in Business, and a Master's Degree in Education. She is a Chartered Life Underwriter, a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter, and a Fellow of the Life Management Institute. In addition, she is active in the community and has been honored by the Red Cross, Thomas More College, the Kentucky Bar Association, and the Ohio Insurance Institute.
