Concurrent Benefits

A claimant may be entitled to both SSD and SSI.

If the SSD benefit is lower than the state's SSI maximum, the claimant's benefit will be supplemented with an SSI payment. A claimant will not receive both the maximum on his/her own work record and the maximum SSI payment.
