Rehabilitation Act of 1973: Client Assistance Program

This program provides grants to states to establish and carry out client assistance programs. The purpose of these programs is to help the states inform rehabilitation clients (and others with disabilities) on how to access available benefits. At the client's request, the states may even offer assistance in pursuing legal, administrative, or other remedies to ensure the individual's rights under the Act.
